Walmart came to me with the brief, “We love this bag we saw the other day with a bunch of Delaware-themed items. Can you do the same for our distribution center here in Smyrna?!” Well of course! Growing up in Sussex County most of my life I know a thing or two about what to bring to a mural showcasing our state.

Everyday pre-shift meetings with associates take place in front of this mural. It’s where they warm up and get into the mindset for a good shift, so it’s important to create a cheerful colorful design. Following the Walmart brand guidelines on color and Iconography we settled on this design after our rounds of edits.
